15 August is one of the most important landmark days in Indian history, known as Independence Day from British Rule. The day marks the breaking of India's shackles from British colonial rule as it left behind nearly 200 years of subjugation. This day is a tribute to India's indomitable spirit, sacrifice and the relentless struggle for freedom led by innumerable brave hearts.
The path to freedom was a very hard one and included the many field movements, from 1857 Revolt to non-violent agitations led by our father of Nation Mahatma Gandhiji.
